The man the American Institute of Architects considered “The greatest American architect of all time” also produced colorful and imaginative graphic designs. This handy journal shows ten presentation drawings Wright rendered in pencil and colored pencil for Liberty magazine. Seven of the designs are proposed covers done in 1927-1928; the three rug designs were adapted in 1955 from earlier proposed covers, only four years before the master’s death. Accompanying the images are twenty Frank Lloyd Wright quotations from his autobiography and his many articles and essays.
