B. Kliban: Cat Tricks Notecard Folio

With the 1975 publication of his groundbreaking book Cat, B. Kliban (1935-1990) took his place among history's most eminent cat cartoonists. His bigger-than-a-breadbox, wannabe-dignified, arguably unhinged tabbies have delighted generations of feline fanciers, appearing on everything from greeting cards to baby clothing to beach towels.

While Kilban created other books of profoundly absurd cartoons - Never Eat Anything Bigger than Your Head, The Biggest Tongue in Tuninisa, and Whack Your Porcupine, to name a few - the Cats remain supremely popular for their limitless curiosity, zest for life, and unpredictably magnanimous spirit. It seems that everyone loves larcenous, gluttonous, sleepyheaded fuzzballs. The notecards in this folio feature two of Cat's craziest tricks - posing in nose glasses and performing bombastic gymnastics.
