Since the 1960s, R. Crumb’s underground comic creations have mirrored and satirized American society. Once a chronicler of fabulous freaks and oversexed cats, Crumb has recently turned to new subjects, treating fabulous feats and oversexed Scots in graphic treatments of the Old Testament and the diary of James Boswell. In the four designs featured on these cards we zap you back to 1967 and the first appearance of the truckin’ theme, a form of locomotion that suggests Groucho Marx by way of Bigfoot.
Twenty assorted 5 x 7" full-color blank notecards (5 each of 4 designs) with white envelopes in a decorative box. ISBN 978-0-7649-4031-6.
